The Flash Wake is a completely new take on the traditional wakebait, designed to create more fish-triggering action on the surface. Built around a realistic 3-inch baitfish profile and weighing just over 1 ounce, the Flash Wake combines a large circuit-board lip with an innovative rear blade that adds flash, sound, and disturbance as the bait moves through the water.
On a slow to medium retrieve, the blade works with the bait’s shape and balance to create a unique combination of flash and clank, while the waking action produces added splash and surface disturbance. Every element of the design was carefully considered to make the blade an integral part of the bait’s action—not simply an added feature.
The realistic baitfish profile, carefully balanced body, and large circuit-board lip all work together to let the rear blade come alive behind the bait. As it moves, the blade catches light, creates sound, and adds another layer of attraction to the lure’s natural surface action.
